Conference: Historians of Asia

The 21st International Association of Historians of Asia (IAHA) Conference will be held in Singapore in June 2010. The Conference is being hosted by the Department of History of the National University of Singapore with the generous support of the Journal of Southeast Asian Studies and the Asian Research Institute at the National University of Singapore.The IAHA Conferences offer a unique opportunity for scholars within the Asian region, as well as from other parts of the world, to discuss, share and gain new insights from their latest historical studies, and to foster solidarity and camaraderie among academics working on Asian history.Proposals for individual papers, panels and colloquia, along with titles and short abstracts, are strongly encouraged from all interested parties and should be sent in no later than 30 September 2009.
